For my DJs and Producers- This is the reality...

You either pay with time or you pay with money. Every artist knows this, but it rarely gets said out loud.

Most people in electronic music are working full-time jobs, gigging on weekends, or balancing multiple responsibilities to keep their careers moving. They don’t have the privilege of spending hours every day creating organic content "praying" it goes viral, nor do they have the funds to hire a marketing team.  And many people I've spoken with don't want to post other people's content, they want to tell their story and build a genuine audience. And creating quality organic content takes hours and isn't scaleable.

This puts your career at the mercy of time, some luck, and the algorithm. You should be putting that content to work for you, even if it didn't perform organically!

This is why paid media exists- to give artists a more reliable, predictable path forward—one that doesn’t require you to quit your job and become a full-time content creator.  It’s a way to get your music, events, story or offers in front of the right people consistently, even when life is busy.

For working artists, that difference matters.

Here's what you need to do:
Make creative that true and authentic to you and  then learn how RUN PAID ADS to target the right audiences so your content works for YOU. Then you can spend more time focusing on your career and music.

What not to do:

  • Clip content about other artists or DJs- (trust me I did this and it hurt me, I explain why in the course)

  • Post hot girls dancing

For My Promoters — This Is the Reality…

Running events today is a pressure cooker: costs are higher than ever, packed schedules, tight margins, last-minute chaos, and an algorithm that ignores half your posts (because your posting flyers). You’re expected to fill rooms, build a brand, and run flawless shows — all without a marketing team or a VC budget.

Here’s the truth no one says out loud:

Organic marketing alone won’t consistently sell tickets.
Not in a world where your audience scrolls past 200 flyers a week.

Your events deserve more than hope.

Paid media gives promoters what they’ve never had before:
a predictable engine for ticket sales.

With the right strategy, you can:

  • Get in front of the exact people in your city who actually buy tickets

  • Build a warm audience that returns show after show

  • Grow your event brand instead of starting from zero every time

  • Reduce the anxiety of “Will anyone show up?”

Promoters don’t need more stress — they need leverage.
Paid media is that leverage.

Case studies

Avision

Avision is our first case study. I reached out to him because I saw something rare. He’s one of the few artists in today’s landscape who still represents what this culture was built on: integrity, craftsmanship, originality, and a genuine commitment to pushing electronic music forward. He’s a voice for real artists and real producers — the kind who care about the underground and protect it. That deserves amplification.

Avision initially we started with content strategy, but very quickly it was clear there was a bigger opportunity. He had years of powerful content, storytelling, and music sitting dormant online—content that reflected exactly who he is, but wasn’t reaching the audiences who needed to see it. What he lacked wasn’t quality; it was a system to turn that quality into visibility, fans, leverage, and momentum.

We rebuilt that system from the ground up.
First, we structured his organic strategy. Then we used paid media to amplify the content that best represented his identity as an artist. From there, we built a funnel to convert awareness into real outcomes: more streams, deeper engagement, and direct ownership of his audience.

The results came fast.
In the first two months, Avision grew an email list of 400+ highly engaged fans, increased Spotify streams through targeted listening campaigns, and expanded his social reach with people who genuinely resonated with his sound. More importantly, he now has a marketing asset he can bring to promoters — he has the ability to drive people to the shows he plays with out relying on story posts, he has proof of demand, not guesswork.

Instead of relying on algorithms or hoping the industry recognizes his value, Avision now has a system that consistently grows his visibility and keeps fans connected through automation, offers, and meaningful communication.

This is what happens when strategy meets authenticity.
The same system Avision used is what you’ll learn inside the program.

The Ornate Project

The Ornate Project came to us with a clear goal: sell more tickets, more consistently, without increasing spend. Their shows were strong, but their marketing wasn’t fully leveraging the audiences they already had — and valuable data was sitting untouched.

We audited their entire funnel and identified multiple high-intent audience segments that weren’t being activated. Once we rebuilt and organized these segments, we used targeted campaigns to drive repeat engagement and lower ticket costs across the board.

From there, we introduced email and SMS segmentation to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and make every blast count — a system we teach inside the program. This alone cut unnecessary spend and boosted revenue.

We also implemented a strategy rooted in artist-led amplification, allowing us to run campaigns through trusted artist channels. Fans engage more with the artist than the event brand itself, and leveraging that behavior drove significantly stronger conversions at a lower cost.

The result: reduced spend, increased revenue, more predictable ticket sales, and an audience strategy that scales with every show.

This is what happens when promoters stop guessing and start using systems. It's the same framework you’ll learn inside the program.

Mike Isai

Mike Isai came to us for social media strategy (which we helped him gain over 10k follower in 6 months)—but quickly realized the real opportunity wasn’t just creating better content. Mike had opened multiple times for Legend Hernan Cattaneo, but he know even with that type of credibility it's still not enough, he needed a system that built online visibility, community, and leverage so promoters saw him as an asset, not just another name trying to get booked.

We rebuilt his growth strategy around two pillars: stream amplification and audience ownership. Using lead generation and targeted ads, we helped Mike grow an email list of 300+ highly engaged New York fans (his home base)—people who actually show up, not just passive followers.

The impact was immediate. With a growing base he could reach directly, Mike secured a residency in NYC, boosted attendance at his last two shows to 150+ people, Instead of waiting for promoters to take notice, Mike curated his own community—and the industry responded.

This is what happens when you stop relying on the algorithm and start building a real audience you own. The same system Mike used is what you’ll learn inside the program.

Make Your Transition

Make Your Transition—an elite electronic-music production community led by Paul James Nolan—came to us with a common problem: great product, but inconsistent growth. They were running ads, posting content, and doing “all the right things,” but their membership wasn’t scaling.

We rebuilt their ad strategy from the ground up: new audiences, new funnels, and content built specifically for how producers who want to take their production to the next level  actually buy.

The result? A 5.95X return on ad spend in under 45 days generating $4,939 in revenue.

This is what happens when your marketing strategy finally matches the quality of your offer. When you know how to reach the right people—and convert them—you stop guessing and start growing.

This is the same system you’ll learn inside the program.

Who is Medtronica-

My Name is Ryan O'Shaughnessy

In 2022, I started Medtronica during one of the hardest chapters of my life—a period where music and community were the only things that kept me grounded. What began as a project exploring electronic music and mental health eventually evolved into something much bigger: a foundation designed to give back to the electronic community in real, practical ways.

One of those ways is education.

Eight years ago, I picked up a camera and a laptop and taught myself Facebook ads. I was running a gym underneath a hotpot restaurant in Chinatown, NYC. We had no street visibility so I had to learn Facebook ads to stay in business. Since then I've spent over $50 Million in ads across various markets.

The more I watched the music industry shift, it's become more and more clear, that independent artists aren’t just competing with other artists—they’re competing with venture-backed festivals, promoters, and marketing machines. And most creators were never given the tools to keep up. BUT

I built this program to change that.

My goal is simple: empower artists with real technical skills that create real career momentum and AGENCY over your career!—the kind of momentum that improves not just your visibility, but your confidence, stability, and mental health. When your career starts moving, your life starts opening up.

Medtronica wouldn’t exist without the people who believed in it early on.
I’m grateful to Avision for giving me an opportunity and a foot in the door to this side of the industry and trusting me with the case studies that became the catalyst for this entire course.

This program is the result of all of it—my experience and my belief that artists deserve access to the same tools as the giants they’re competing against.
